Hardwick Neighbor to Neighbor
Our Purpose
We aim to support local efforts that are already assisting people during these unprecedented times, reach out to all residents, especially people without Internet or computers, and connect resources with everyone who needs them. Our efforts include:- postcards arriving in every Hardwick mailbox to share information and offer assistance to everyone. - A local list of resources on the town website - a central and local number to call for assistance and information - an online form to request and/or offer assistance available on the town website - A phone tree for the entire town of Hardwick, in which all residents are called and checked in on- connecting with local government, agencies, organizations, schools, churches, groups, businesses etc. to find out what everyone in the town is doing to offer aid and stay safe, what support is needed for these efforts, and how we can all work together- coordinating mask making efforts and ensuring masks get to Hardwick area folks who need them most. - problem solving around community needs that aren’t being adequately addressedWith generous support from the Jeudevine Library staff who will be answering your calls and emails, we aim to help everyone get through this crisis safely by reaching out to all, tapping into our individual and community strengths, and working together.
