For over sixty years Hanover Community Gardens has been providing a venue where residents of Hanover and surrounding towns can plant an organic garden in a sunny location with fertile soil. The group provides water, organic compost and a seasonal fence for protection from animal pests to the gardeners. Annually about 30 families work in the gardens, ranging in age from toddlers to octogenarians.
