to teach children to plant and maintain an heirloom vegetable garden in the Grandma and Grandpa's Garden at Vermont Garden Park (Wheeler Homestead) at 1100 Dorset Street in South Burlington, VT.   Each week the children are shown examples of pollinators, composting, invasives, chemical-free techniques, pruning, good & bad insects, and other earth-friendly subjects.  The children plant the seeds, weed, harvest, and donate all produce to the South Burlington Common Roots Food Share program, serving 30 families in need.
