The garden received a grant in 2011 for garden tools and lumber to build a shed. This project is aimed at creating a nutritional resource which will be used to enhance the health and well-being of a group of people. A community garden will be a foundation of positive change within any community. It provides access to healthy foods, growing and nutritional knowledge, as well as a productive outlet for the community involved.
