We serve as a connector and catalyst for hundreds of organizations and businesses working on renewable energy, local food and agriculture, transportation, natural resources, land use and water quality, green buildings and related areas. Our activities include an e-newsletter of sustainability events/news/notices, Portland Greenfest, Sustainability Conferences, the Portland Regional Energy Working Group, the Maine Energy Work Group, the Maine Environmental Sustainability Network. We are actively developing new projects including the Green Seal of Approval certification and promotion program for environmentally-friendly businesses, the Carbon-Neutral Maine campaign, the Green Real Estate and Development initiative and more.
