To be the first New England based grassroots cycling team to promote environmental activism & local non-profit outreach. We (Jena & Ryan) are both activists for the environment and a more sustainable world. We are both active volunteers for Bike Newton & Green Decade Newton (Jena is an intern for GDN). This Spring we will be leading a Family Bike Ride & a Spring Tune-Up. Jena is also in charge of coordinating the Newton-Needham-Boorkline kids PMC ride. We believe that the bike is a vehicle for a healthier planet. Commuting to work every day via the bike is always our mode of choice. We believe in a sense of freedom and empowerment on the bicycle. We live a life committed to community. Being local and having a sense of place are the most valuable aspect of sustainability.
