Grand Aspirations empowers, connects, and supports youth leaders as they create innovative, self-sustaining and interdependent initiatives that integrate climate and energy solutions, economic security and social justice. Summer of Solutions Pioneer Valley works in Turners Falls and Greenfield to build a local food system, and facilitate community building through community education and cultural spaces during an eight week summer program. In the process, participants between the ages of 16 and 25, develop leadership skills and capacity to be agents of change in their community. The Pioneer Valley program is one off sixteen Summer of Solutions across the country, all dedicated to creating models for transformation and community development to help people thrive in the face of economic, environmental and social crises.
