Gloucester SaLT (Sea and Land Together) has a MISSION to Create local food security, agility and robust interconnectivity by harnessing the wisdom of Gloucester's past, recognizing the reality of its present, and actively shaping a future that embraces land, sea & people as one interdependent system. 1. PREPARE : the next generation of Fishers & Farmers to have successful careers; ​​​​​2. ENGAGE : local youth & community to relate to land & sea & science as an interdependent system, and to understand the role we each play in nurturing that system’s health; 3. EXCHANGE : local food and recipes, and cooking skills between all the tastes and traditions that make up Gloucester; 4. CREATE : delicious, nutritious meals and memories together in a beautiful location.
