The Gilford Energy Committee received a grant in 2008 to perform research of our community energy use which will enable appropriate prioritization of energy saving actions. The grant will also aid in initial community outreach and education to include anti-idling, change a light bulb, the NH Carbon Challenge and design and creation of a website. The Committees outreach campaign will focus around schools and shopping areas to reach the rural population.
