to establish a consumer co-op, worker self-managed brewpub in Burlington, Vermont modeled after the Black Star Pub & Brewery of Austin, Texas. It is our hope that it can serve as a community-owned gathering space that cultivates strong participatory elements, serves locally (and member) sourced and created fare, and functions as an accessible and engaging vehicle through which participants can familiarize themselves with participatory democratic governance skills and pracitices.
