The Friends of the Worcester Range received a grant in 2008 to develop a multilayered constituency of residents, municipal governments, not for profit organizations and the State of Vermont committed to the long term protection of the Worcester Range. The Friends group proposes to hold a “Walk and Talk” series in continued partnership with two organizations and build community interest and engagement around the Worcester Range. A coordinator is available to work on community outreach that holds and environmental studies degree.
