Summary of Projects

The Friends of the Blue Hills received a grant in 2008 to increase civic engagement and develop leaders to protect Indian Line Farm, 40 acres within the Blue Hills Reservation which are particularly threatened by development. The Friends group will develop relationships with existing stakeholders and develop new ones by holding community meetings and on site events. In addition the Friends group will reach out to neighbors and city and state officials to build a network of people who want to protect the land.
