to promote educational activities by offering field trips to hundreds of elementary school students, provide healthy food to the local hospital, continue offering a young farmer training program to area high school students, and promote the use of sustainable farming methods. A goal of FOSF is to generate the resources required to expand all these programs and to add exciting, additional ones that best serve our youth and community. Each year, the number of youth volunteers interested in working at the farm surpasses our ability to provide supervision with existing staff.
