The Friends of Seabrook Community (FOSC) has a vision to create recreational and wellness opportunities in Seabrook, NH that increase community access to outdoor opportunities that focus on community engagement.  Seabrook is a town in need with a high population of at-risk families and youth with a variety of challenges, including transportation, increased home stressors, homelessness, financial barriers, and a high prevalence of drug and alcohol abuse in the Seabrook community.  FOSC began with a revitalization of the Veteran's Memorial Park in Seabrook, a place that was known to be active with drug users after dark.  Now, there is ZERO drug use in the park, a brand new playground, double basketball court, and Gaga Pit for the entire community that FOSC was able to complete with the support of the town and our partners.  In July of 2021 FOSC successfully earned the role of fiscal agent for the Seabrook Adventure Zone, our FREE K-8th 21st CCLC afterschool program with over 270 enrolled students currently.FOSC has identified a need to increase capacity and opportunities within our Nature Trail that would be beneficial, both mentally and physically, to the entire community.  Our Board is all volunteer-based and we do what we do for the love of our community.
