We are a multi-racial multi-dimensional group of parents and community stakeholders invested in creating racial equity within the Framingham Public School System. We believe a more balanced and equitable system will lead to greater outcomes for all students, teachers, administrators, and parents within FPS.FFREE organizes around the following four tenets:

• Hiring and retention: Prioritizing hiring and retention of people of color in both teaching staff and administration
• Policies and procedures: Addressing disproportionate discipline, School Resource Officers and other impacts of inequitable policies
• Professional development: Ensuring that staff are trained with current practices in racial justice and equity
• Curriculum: Working with educators to utilize world histories and telling the stories of marginalized people globally
