Fostering Love CT, Inc. was founded by foster parents Mark and Brianna Regentz. They witnessed first hand what children do (and do not) come into care with, and created this organization to help ease their burden whilest going through transition.  Since its inception, Fostering Love has provided over 400 care packages to children entering foster care (including pajamas, underwear, socks, and toiletries). We have also povided care packages for every teenager in DCF's region 1 aging out of foster care and moving into their first apartment (including kitchen utensils, pot/pans, dishes, cutlery etc.) or going to college on their own (including bedding, toiletries, etc.).  Fostering Love also provides support and resources to families with children who have recently become homeless, families with children who have recently found permanent housing after a period of homelessness, and families that have taken over care of a relative's or friend's child.In response to the pandemic that we are currently facing and in furtherance of Fostering Love CT's mission, we are providing support and resources for children in need. This week alone,  Fostering Love has provided diapers, wipes, formula, groceries, and tolietries to over 35 families struggling to make ends meet.
