Flint Pond Improvement Association
Our Purpose
The Flint Pond Improvement Association is dedicated to the protection and restoration of Flints Pond. FPIA has worked closely with the NH Department of Environmental Services and the Town of Hollis to reduce and control the variable milfoil infestation on the Flints Pond. The pond is 50 acres, heavily used by the public for recreational paddling and fishing, the pond also supports a variety of wildlife. FPIA conducts water quality sampling through the NH DES Volunteer Lake Assessment Program, educates the community on invasive species spread prevention, and engages in grassroots fundraising activities such as the Flints Pond Fishing Booth shown in photographs at Hollis Old Home Day. The Board of Directors is an active group of seven dedicated volunteers. There are no employees of the Association.
