We want to upgrade our kitchen so that it can become a true community kitchen, and in turn, a true third place-- we want to host regular free community meals, and we want our kitchen and dining areas be a place where people can come to eat, laugh, play games, and just be with one another, regardless of what they can or cannot contribute. We have a dream of creating a sustaining system in which local aspiring chefs can rent out kitchen at a fair (below market) rate, that will go back right back to the kitchen to feed the community.
