At Farm Truck Institute our mission is to strengthen the foundations of health through Maineʼs organic farms and elementary schools, where childhood nutrition is so fundamental. This framework suggests a new way of conceptualizing policies and practices which will affect early childhood health and long term healthy outcomes. We believe that one of our communities’ greatest indicators for health will be the support of local farms, and access to its produce and products.
