The Farm at School project seeks to create a small vegetable farm on school grounds that both provides fresh food to the district and creates work and study opportunities for students.This project seeks to address two challenges: access to fresh food and access to opportunities for applied personal learning.   Its engine is a small production style vegetable farm on school grounds.  The farm would have three capacities:Produce a significant amount of food for multiple schools within the district.    Engage students with their food through labor  Create opportunities for students to connect classroom learning with personal learning goals in an applied environment.
