FANG seeks to create, connect and amplify nonviolent resistance to the fracked-gas and extreme energy industries while also supporting other struggles for justice. We formed out of concern that in New England and across the country, coal based energy is being replaced by natural gas, rather then clean renewable sources. New studies have shown that gas is worse for the climate then coal and oil. Plus the extraction and transportation of gas hurts local communities.
