The purpose of our organziation is to identify issues in our community that specifcally impact children and families and work to solve them. Currently, our purpose is to provide meals to children and families in low-income communties across Connecicut who are impacted by Covid-19. We have worked with local teachers and eduation professionals to identify children and families most in need. We will be partnering with a local resturant who will provide meals to us at a discounted rate for families. We have about 30 voulenteers who have pledge to help deilver these meals. None of the members of our organization or voulenteers receive compensation as to allow for the greatest amount of funds to go directly to families in need.
