Our purpose is to serve as a facilitator and advocate for encouraging the pursuit of farming and agriculture in Fairhaven. The commission is also charged with supporting agricultural-based economic opportunities and providing dispute resolution services to farmers. Additional duties include working with town officials and boards to promote and protect agricultural interests and enforce the Right to Farm Bylaw.
