Our Purpose

to educate and empower our youth to make informed choices about food and to advocate effectively for just, environmentally and agriculturally sound practices in their lives, their community and the wider world. This means: * raising awareness of food, farming, and hunger issues in the community; * identifying and mobilizing adults who can help teach and excite the teens; * providing teens opportunities to serve, learn, and also teach; and * creating ways for teens and adults to identify and act locally and beyond where policies and choices affecting hunger and food production are made.

Summary of Projects

Environmental Partnerships received a grant in 2011 to support the Setting the Table: From Field to Plate program, a service learning program for middle school and high school youth focused on issues of food, farming, and hunger.
