Our purpose is to...The Eliot Aging in Place Committee, created as an ad hoc committee in 2017 to assist Eliot residents to age in place, will partner with the newly created Eliot Strong during this time when our community faces a pandemic. Eliot Strong was designed  to be a community support forum for Eliot, Maine. As we move into the reality of life during a pandemic, we are finding ways to support & help one another rather than feeling cut off from the world, alone and afraid. Lending a hand is the purest form of community and while it should not require a crisis for us to mobilize, that is what we've got and there are those among us ready to give to those in need.
