Our purpose with this project is to address some of the food insecurity arising as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. We run a backpack program with the Craftsbury school, providing weekend food for families who request it. With school not in session, with people's employment and therefore income precarious, more and more families will become food insecure in varying degrees. The East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church is helping provide food and nourishment for these families and others in our town.
