to develop an outdoor urban agricultural mini- farm and community garden.The mini- farm and garden will accomplish several objectives. 1st, it will enable the EPCG to grow and produce fruit, vegetables and produce. 2nd, it will provide a site at which individuals can obtain skills and technical training and learn how to construct urban farms and gardens and utilize blacktop spaces to grow and cultivate produce. It will also provide a distribution site from which produce can be distributed to food banks, the needy and also sold at the wholesale and retail level. Ultimately, it is the goal of the EPCG to increase the availability of fruit, vegetables and produce for the inhabitants of the neighborhood, lower the cost of food and enhance the awareness of the inhabitants. We see the process of starting the garden as a important part of a cohesive neighborhood group which may have interest in expanding into other neighbor concerns
