to generate an Request for Proposal (RFP), create interest and subsequently launch a grassroots solarize campaign. We are a group of community volunteers, spawned from the Dummerston Energy Committee, however a couple active members of the task force are on the DEC. We are currently working independent of town government, however we do plan to keep the select board informed of our actions.Our intent is to get proposals from local installers, and offer both ground and roof mount systems at their homes and businesses as well as an opportunity to join a community solar installation. The goal is to make solar power affordable, and simplified for residents and small business of Dummerston and the surrounding area through a traditional solaize program.
