Our purpose is to provides connection to resources that preserve and advance the use of draft animals in the working landscape.  This includes developing resources to support existing teamsters, facilitating training opportunities for beginning teamsters, negotiating the cultural and generational divides between older and younger practitioners, and preserving historic knowledge inherent to the use of draft animals. We do this in order to promote and facilitate land use that is environmentally, emotionally and economically sustainable for the humans and the animals who are our partners in this work.
