Our Purpose

to create a peaceful place where all community members can come together to nurture our connection to nature and each other by growing food locally.

Summary of Projects

The garden received a grant in 2008 to purchase necessary materials to build and maintain the garden, including a shed, rain barrels, and wagons. Our enthusiastic garden stewards will then be further enabled to engage people in the community and connect them with nature, food, and each other. The goal of the project is to foster community, health and education about local food through the structure of the garden
