Dedham Farmers Market
Our Purpose
Dedham Square Circle is a civic non profit that runs the year round Dedham Farmers Market and free events that are open to everyone. The Dedham Farmers Market has a mission is to support local farms and bring fresh local produce, local specialty food and handmade goods to our community that serves Dedham and surrounding communities. The Farmers Market curates local farms, accepts SNAP and has HIP (Massachusetts Health Incentives Program) vendors that are depended upon by at least 120 families monthly to use their benefits to get fresh food. In addition, this year, the market introduced POP Club, a free program focused on encouraging children to engage in the local food system and make their own fresh produce shopping decisions at the market. The Farmers Market strives to support the community by providing free vendor booths for local civic non-profits and green causes and acts as an incubator for new small sole proprietor businesses, most of which are female and minority run. The Farmers Market also promotes local artists and supports musicians. The Farmers Market as well as all other Dedham Square Circle events are welcoming, culturally enriching and community building for all.
