Our purpose is to... create a Connecticut Geological Trail that will enable people to visit a variety of geological examples within the state.  Many of these are located out west on a grander scale, but within a few hours’ drive one can see a variety of geological formations within Connecticut.  Working with volunteer geologists, graphic designers and other needed professionals and the CT DEEP (Department of Energy and Environmental Protection) a plan will be developed to inform and educate people about this natural local resource.
