Counterfeit Cow Productions came together in June 2012 to film a Documentary entitled "Homeless in a College Town" in Amherst, MA. The film is about the homeless and the housing crisis in the college town. Shortly after filming began, our filmmakers and crew felt that we could not stand by and witness what is happening in Amherst without trying to help. After many meetings Counterfeit Cow Productions began several outreach projects in Amherst for the homeless to benefit from. The outreach project that we are currently requesting funds for is a sculpture that will double as a piggy bank, to be placed downtown in Amherst where all donations will go to the local shelter.
