Our Purpose

to develop community gardens for families without land to make their own, to teach people the art of raising their own food, to share with the community with a focus on younger people to improve the overall health of those that we can.

Summary of Projects

Colebrook Community Garden received a grant in 2010 for garden tools (tillers) to prepare the soil and expand the garden for the 2011 growing season.

The group received a grant in 2009 to start a community garden on land that is currently vacant, but was previously farmed and to mentor local residents in producing and preparing their own produce.
