The Climate Equity Working Group aims to serve as a brain-trust for equitably engaging all New Haven communities in shaping and implementing the City government's Climate & Sustainability Framework (a municipal climate-action plan). Our Group convenes community activists, organizers, and environmental educators -- predominantly people of color -- to develop tactics for educating and organizing those communities that historically marginalized from policy-making: low- and middle-income communities of color.
