HaltMAsmartMeters.org is striving, long term raise awareness of the growing body of knowledge of the dangers of the unchecked, unlicensed, ubiquitous proliferation of RadioFrequency, specifically microwaves. Short term, we are striving to stop the installation of so-called ‘smart’ AMI meters and their Wi-Max infrastructure in Massachusetts as the meters require three new, private, powerful microwave networks. The others hazards to Massachusetts residents are privacy, security, safety, wallet and adverse impacts on flora and fauna, especially but not exclusively pollinators and pets. We need to raise funds to heighten awareness, not only of the dangers but of imminent deployment throughout the state.
