Our Purpose

to raise the level of protection for the resources of the Cedar Swamp and its supporting water resources, classified as Outstanding Resources Waters. The mission is accomplished through advocacy, raising awareness of the role these resources have in out lives and what impaces the quality of these resources.

Summary of Projects

Cedar Swamp Conservation Trust received a grant in 2009 to stop a proposed and permitted wastewater treatment facility which would degrade water quality in the Whitehall Brook.

The group received a grant in 2008 to continue to related ongoing projects to continue the Water Quality Program and to support costs involved with legal appeals.
