Our purpose is to...create a 1/2 acre wildflower meadow on Charlton Housing Authority property.Wildflower meadows have advantages when compared to grass lawns. They are more effective than turf surfaces at absorbing storm water, recharging ground water supplies, and filtering pollutants. Meadows attract a variety of birds and increase pollinator species in the area.
