Our Purpose

Carroll County Conservation District works with towns and individual landusers to coordinate State & Federal conservation programs at the local level in the interest of public health, safety and welfare. Our efforts are focused on concerns including water quality, erosion & sedimentation, wildlife habitats, health of forests & wetlands, sustainable agriculture, non-point source pollution, and storm water & flooding.
