Our purpose is to...bring our high school closer to a green future. This club has been at our high school since the nineties and has long focused on the goal of uniting youth and their passions for the environment. Although our values have stayed true throughout our history, we have recently become far more active and engaged in our community. We have developed community partners with whom we can fundraise and learn. Goal setting has also become a far more prevalent part of our group. These goals are bigger than we could have imagined. Our main goal at the moment is to install a wind turbine on Brunswick high school's campus. In adding this to our school's environmental journey, we could ensure that greener energy would be a part of our future for years to come. Beyond our projects, at our core, we have the purpose of empowering youth. We meet once a week to brainstorm, check-in, and plan fundraisers. We have all become grateful for these meetings as many of our sources of outreach are shut down at the moment. Our meetings may be online but they still provide an excellent form of socialization.
