Boston Food Not Bombs is a mutual aid organization dedicated to providing condition-free food aid to anyone who needs it in Boston. We differentiate ourselves from charitable food aid organizations who require conditions of sobriety or existing patronage to access food by providing food unconditionally to anyone who attends our programming. In operation as a model since 1970, the current iteration of Boston Food Not Bombs has been together and holding a weekly street meal since 2016. We source the ingredients for each meal by and large from food recovery from large donors and small monetary donations from community members.
