We are a passionate group of volunteers dedicated to growing food to alleviate hunger in our communities. Formed in early 2020, right before the COVID-19 pandemic began, we established a brand new, entirely volunteer run, non-profit farm in Wayland, MA named Aurelia's Garden, Inc. There, we have dedicated many of our own personal resources and time to growing food for food pantries in the Greater Boston Food Bank network, specifically, Open Table in Maynard, MA. We farm in the most sustainable and ecologically sound manner possible and work hard to grow the most nutritious, high quality produce we can, all of which we donate on a weekly basis. In addition to growing food, we are working to expand our mission and activities to finding ways we can address the underlying causes of food insecurity and inequity in our local food system.
