KEYNOTE ADDRESS & BREAKFAST: Dimensions of Change through Community Gardening, Daniel Ross 
An interactive presentation and discussion about how community gardening can effect change in communities, including cutting-edge health and economic development issues. Recognized as a leading social entrepreneur, Daniel Ross specializes in food and environmental enterprises and programs in underserved communities. Daniel is currently a principal and CEO of Daisa Enterprises  and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at Hampshire College.

Ross was formerly the Executive Director of Nuestra Raices in Holyoke. MA and Chief Operating Officer of the Wholesome Wave Charitable Foundation Ventures.

41st ANNUAL GARDENERS’ GATHERING: FREE & OPEN TO ALL
The Gardeners’ Gathering offers more than two dozen skill-building workshops for both vegetable and ornamental gardeners with an emphasis on healthy practices for urban gardens. Topics range from seed starting to composting, urban beekeeping, and community and youth organizing to learning how to prepare garden-grown goodies. Attendees will also be able to experience multiple exhibitors’ work from Boston-area agriculture, gardening, and environmental organizations.
