**The application for scholarship/stipends to attend the Fall 2019 RootSkills Training has not opened yet. Please check back in to apply. If you have questions, please contact program manager Tess Beem ([email protected]).
Could a scholarship help you attend RootSkills?
- We use a sliding scale, based on need for the cost of registration. Understanding that individual and organizational budgets and ability to pay vary, **our sliding scale starts at $35.** This means that you can register for the event anywhere from $35 to $150, without needing to be considered for a scholarship.
- Scholarships are considered for those who are able to pay $0 (full scholarship) or $15 (partial scholarship) to attend.
We ask all participates to pay what they can to make it possible for all to have access to this event. Please fill out the form below, and staff from the New England Grassroots Environment Fund will in touch about details and next steps.
**ALL STIPENDS OFERED BELOW WILL BE PROCESSED AFTER THE EVENT**
We strive to lower barriers to participation at our events. The stipend options below are aimed to support those organizers and community members that might not be able to attend without this financial support. Funds for these stipends are limited. Stipend request forms will be shared with participants following the event, and must be returned to the Grassroots Fund for processing within 6 weeks of event date.
We are able to reimburse for travel to the event up to $50, based on milage.
At this point in time, we do not plan to offer on-site childcare. We are able to reimburse at-home childcare services for attendees up to $100.
For attendees that will be missing paid work time in order to attend the event, we are able to offer up to $250.
Deadline for online scholarship & stipend application is 2 weeks from the event (not set yet).
