Common Ground Recovery Inc.
Our Purpose
Common Ground Recovery was formed in direct response to Vermont’s urgent need for trauma-informed, peer-led recovery housing. Too many adults in early recovery face long waitlists, unstable living conditions, and limited access to meaningful employment—leaving them vulnerable to relapse, homelessness, or institutional cycling. CGR exists to change that. Our overarching goal is to create safe, dignified transitional housing where residents are empowered to rebuild their lives through community, purpose, and economic opportunity. We believe recovery is not just about sobriety—it’s about stability, autonomy, and belonging. By combining lived experience, transparent governance, and workforce-readiness programming, CGR offers a replicable model that restores hope and reduces long-term reliance on public systems. We do this work because we’ve lived it, and because we know that when recovery is rooted in trust and opportunity, transformation is not only possible—it’s inevitable.
