The Cummington Tree Alliance seeks to transform how our community relates to trees—from viewing them simply as a resource to recognizing them as living partners in ecological health, climate resilience, and community well-being. Our long-term goal is to nurture a culture of stewardship and regeneration in rural Western Massachusetts, where trees and watersheds are at the heart of thriving ecosystems and strong, connected communities. To achieve this, we are increasing community involvement through educational initiatives, collaborative projects, and community-wide events that invite residents to learn, participate, and take action together.
