The primary focus of Hingham Net Zero is supporting attainment of our net zero goal by fostering behavior change among Hingham residents through education and advocacy of a low carbon lifestyle. We are residents of Hingham, MA coming together to raise awareness of the need for aggressive climate action; support the Town’s efforts to cut emissions; and work to reduce carbon emissions across our town as quickly as possible. We hope to achieve these goals through advocacy and education. We have a number of working groups and we are always looking for volunteers to help. We host monthly Hingham Net Zero meetings to discuss current goals, future endeavors, and other climate-minded ideas! We have several sub-committees (Community Engagement, HMLP Engagement, EV committee) dedicated to specific goals or interests.
