Families Creating Together (FCT) provides inclusive, accessible arts opportunities for youth of all abilities and their families, with a focus on BIPOC, intergenerational, and low- to moderate-income communities throughout Greater Boston. FCT believes the arts are a powerful tool for connection, self-expression, belonging, and well-being. Through hands-on workshops and community-based programs, we create welcoming spaces where individuals of different ages and abilities can create and learn together. FCT works to reduce barriers to participation caused by disability, language, financial hardship, housing instability, and other life circumstances by providing accommodations, culturally responsive programming, and affordable access. Our goal is to strengthen and foster meaningful community connections, and ensure everyone has the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of the arts.
