Our purpose is to...Women Against Mass Incarceration (WAMI) is a non-profit organization working to empower women, girls, and families who have been directly/indirectly justice-impacted by incarceration (formerly or presently), trauma-survived, or seeking support. Through our re-entry work, advocacy and political education, our aim is to elevate, educate and empower women and girls in efforts to end mass incarceration.
