Re-Treasured Community Closet is conveniently situated in downtown Groton, VT! We provide a variety of free items, including clothing, shoes, backpacks, prom dresses, small household goods, hygiene products, and food items—plus much more!Expanding Our Offerings:We recognize that our location is surrounded by a community that could greatly benefit from the addition of simple edible plants, vegetables, and fruits, complementing the non-perishables available on our food shelf.We view this initiative not only as a new food source but also as an educational opportunity to demonstrate how to grow food in small spaces while on a budget.Our Vision:We envision cedar barrels placed in front of our shop, serving as community gardens where local residents can contribute plants (there are always extra seedlings available!). This space will allow people to assist in nurturing the growth of these items and, most importantly, provide a spot for individuals to pick a fresh tomato or a handful of herbs to enhance their food shelf items!
